History/Discovery:

Amanda Hendrick was born and raised in Airdrie, Scotland. She attended Airdrie Academy and left high school in 2006 because of her modelling demands.

Amanda’s model potential was first discovered when she was 14, when she entered a modelling competetition for the teen version of Elle Magazine. The prize was a contract with Storm Agency. Amanda came in second in the competition, but was still offered a contract. However, Amanda deferred her modelling career to focus on her school work.

A year later she was spotted by a photgrapher at Central station who approached her. Within weeks she began modelling for Orginal Shoe Company and had signed herself with the Model Team.

Since her ‘discovery’, Amanda has become one of Scotland’s most demanded and successful top models. She has worked for Dior and has walked cat walks in Milan and Japan.

From October 2008 to december 20, 2010, Amanda dated the vocalist from bring me the Horizon, Oliver Sykes. for unknown reasons, they are no longer a couple. They had met at the Glasgow barfly in October 2008.

She currently resides in Scotland.
